Designed by Tinker Hatfield and originally released in 1998, the Black/Varsity Red-White colorway of the Air Jordan 13 has been tapped for a return this January. Inspired by the paw of a panther and an unknowing play on Michael Jordan’s “Black Cat” nickname, the retro edition of the sneaker features an upper of tumbled black leather, red nubuck and a padded black mesh overlay alongside a perforated tongue, a hidden lacing system and Zoom Air cushioning. Furthering the cat-like aesthetic, the kicks maintain their signature holographic jewel – meant to resemble the eye of a cat and housing both Jordan’s jersey number and iconic Jumpman logo. The 2013 retro of the Black/Varsity Red-White Air Jordan 13 is due to be available from Jordan Brand stockists on Saturday, January 12, for $170 USD

Air Jordan 1 “Gucci”
Jordan Brand presents the “Gucci” colorway of its classic Air Jordan 1. Borrowing the luxury brand’s color combo, the upper pairs textured black leather on most of the upper with smooth turquoise leather on the ankle, heel and toe. Finished off with a red padded ankle closure, outsole and laces, the choice of texture and color gives the hi-top a very bold, almost reptilian quality. Other features of the kicks include a perforated toe section for air flow, white midsole and embossed red Air Jordan logo on the side. Those hoping to score a pair of these limited edition kicks need look no further than LIMITED EDT in Singapore when they drop December 10.
