Referred by some as the Native Tongues for the new generation, New York boom bap collective Pro Eracertainly had an eventful 2012 marked by stellar releases from frontman Joey Bada$$ (1999) as well as a monumental group effort dubbed PEEP: The aPROcalypse. HYPETRAK TV recently caught up with Pro Era at the Stussy flagship store in New York City on December 21 to celebrate the release of several limited-edition T-shirts that features the P.E. roster on the back and a photograph of a select few members across the front. As a tragic sidenote, this was one of Pro Era’s most prominent members final public appearance as 19-year-old MC Capital Steez passed away only a few days later.
